Clinical Supervisor Position

The Clinical Supervisor would carry a part-time caseload of no more than 15 clients per week. The caseload could include working with individuals (children/adolescents and adults), couples, and/or families. The Clinical Supervisor will have a solid clinical background combined with a range of skills and training to treat common mental health conditions in addition to, prior experience in a private practice setting both as a clinician and in a supervisory/management role. There are optional opportunities to facilitate groups, deliver speaking engagements, and provide support to organizations following a crisis.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active, unrestricted clinical license in the Commonwealth of Virginia

  • Prior experience in a private practice setting both as a clinician and in a supervisory/management role

  • Strong risk assessment and crisis management skills—and ability to respond to emergencies as needed

  • Ability to handle and provide straight-forward feedback

  • A willing mentality to learn and value ongoing training

  • Skills in prioritizing and managing time

  • Be compassionate, empathetic, fun, and team oriented

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills orally, in writing, and presentation

  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well independently

*Compensation: This is a W-2 position to include taxes, benefits, and most work-related expenses and resources. RGH offers a hybrid reimbursement structure of flat rate for clinical duties plus a salary for supervisory/ancillary duties. Pay ranges $70,000 - $85,000

Work Environment: Psychotherapy services are rendered in the office, for in-person and/or telehealth
