I am a Graduate Student Intern completing an internship with Renewal, Growth, and Healing. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. Currently, I am obtaining a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I strive to bring my genuine, compassionate, and grounded personality to form an understanding, supportive, and authentic dynamic with the people I serve!

I believe that all individuals—no matter one’s identity, background, or the hardships one has faced in life—deserve the outlet to heal and become the best version of themselves. Through therapeutic guidance and support, I aim to meet clients where they are at, discover where they intend to be, and be an unwavering supporter of the work we set out to do. When working with me, I view the client as the expert of their experiences and make collaborative goals tailored to the client's unique perspectives and needs. Ultimately, my mission is to encourage clients to show up to counseling as they are and leave as who they are meant to be.

As a counselor, I strive to help diverse clients by offering a person-centered and existential counseling approach that guides clients towards their needs and life purposes. I integrate cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and narrative theory and techniques informed by a culturally competent, social justice-aligned, and queer-affirming modality. Using a personalized, client-centered approach, I hope to provide guidance and support that uplifts everyone towards their personal view of “healing” and an “ideal life.” I am available to work with a variety of clients and client concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment, trauma, relationship conflict, struggles with identity, and difficulties navigating societal systems. From children to adolescents, younger adults to older adults, I am enthusiastic to meet with you, learn with you, and build with you.

Currently, I am completing my final year of graduate school online at Old Dominion University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2024. I have a background in customer service leadership roles, which have instilled skills of interpersonal relations, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and intervention—each invaluable to my work here!

Outside of clinical work, you are likely to find me embracing indoor hobbies such as crafting, baking, reading, solving word puzzles, and meditating! When I take on the outdoors, I enjoy picnicking, skating, concert-going, and stargazing. I believe in surrounding oneself with those who support one’s healing, happiness, and growth; accordingly, I am often spending time with family, friends, and the people in my life that I love.
